Hi — I'm Jhayde. I'm probably a little lost right now, and that's rather the point.
I started filming because I was terrified of forgetting. One shaky clip from a train window in 2019 turned into a habit, the habit turned into a channel, and the channel turned into the best conversation of my life — the one I get to have with you.
I'm not the creator with the perfect itinerary. I'm the one who misses the bus, orders the wrong thing, cries a little at a view she wasn't expecting, and keeps the camera rolling anyway. Forty-two countries later, I've learned the story is almost never the landmark. It's the woman who refuses to let you pay for the bread. It's the light at 6:41 p.m. It's the hour you sat still and finally felt like yourself.
